"This place is a hidden gem. There is a good reason it has a 5 star rating with almost 100 reviews. Go here before it gets too popular. Great for a date night or dinner with a group of close friends. They offered a 69 CHF tasting menu that was delightful and more food than we could eat. Everything was delicious from the mains down to the simple things like the olive oil and balsamic vinegar imported from Italy and the fresh baked Focaccia. They had a great wine list and the restaurant felt like you were in a charming Italian home. The service was amazing. Our waiter Alex was very attentive, knew all about the food and wine, and was charming. They should probably charge more than they do. Well worth it."

"Where do I start... This place feels like home. Husband and wife operating a new-ish restaurant. From the moment I called to mention we were running late, I felt so welcomed and felt that our business was truly appreciated. The place is managed like a well oiled machine, it is obvious that there are many decades of hospitality experience wrapped into one great restaurant. The staff was attentive, gave fantastic recommendations for both food and wine pairings. We enjoyed the leek soup ( I order one for starter and one for dessert!). We then had a pizza and the most amazing squid ink pasta I have ever had in my entire life. My wife and came to Switzerland after 8 days in Tuscany/Milan/Como. We had such great food we wanted one last great Italian meal. This place was by far the most amazing, authentic Italian cuisine of our entire trip. Many thanks for such a great experience, this is one for the record books for us"

"We had an excellent evening meal in this restaurant. It's a bit off the beaten track, but well worth the short ride (bus number 19) from the city centre. The Jerusalem artichoke cream with scallops and the entrecote were particularly good, as were the wines. The tables are far enough apart to make conversation easy, and the service was perfect: friendly and attentive without being invasive. Overall a really good find in an unexpected location."

"It was more than a restaurant experience. Not only were the dishes delicious and memorable, I felt at home. The owners were lovely and kind. He acknowledged my request for a private, quieter setting in the restaurant where most people would have overlooked such request. It was a simple gesture, yet it set the tone for our evening. I could sense the passion, love, and care they've infused into every detail and corner of their business and space. The food, service, ambience, and overall energy worked beautifully together. Everything was simple and effortless, yet exceptional. And even better, they had their sweet miniature Doberman as the best accessory. It was the best dining experience I've ever had and I've traveled extensively around the world. I've experienced some of the best meals, but this particular experience was memorable, unique, and special. Thank you for all you do. I can't wait to visit Lucerne again in the near future just to have this dining experience again."
